Overview

The PIC18F26K40T-I/MV is a high-performance 8-bit microcontroller featuring 64KB of Flash memory and integrated XLP (eXtreme Low Power) technology. It operates at speeds up to 64MHz and includes a rich set of Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) designed to handle tasks without CPU intervention, reducing overall power consumption.

Why Choose This Part

This MCU offers a high memory-to-pin-count ratio with 64KB of Flash in a 28-pin package. The inclusion of Peripheral Pin Select (PPS) allows for flexible I/O mapping, simplifying PCB routing by letting developers assign digital peripherals to any I/O pin.

Applications

Battery-Powered Remote Sensors
Leverages XLP technology and sleep currents as low as 0.9uA to extend the life of wireless monitoring nodes.
Industrial Control Logic
Utilizes the 1024 bytes of EEPROM for non-volatile storage of calibration data and system parameters in rugged environments.
Handheld Medical Devices
Small 4x4mm UQFN footprint and low-power modes make it suitable for compact, portable diagnostic tools.
