Overview

The PRV15-S1-6 is an isolated, high-voltage DC/DC converter module designed to provide a proportional output of 0 to 1000V from a 2.5V to 15V input. This 6W module features low-noise quasi-sinewave oscillation and metal shielding to minimize EMI in sensitive instrumentation environments. It includes integrated protection features such as thermal shutdown and over-voltage protection within a compact, potted through-hole package.

Why Choose This Part

The module utilizes a quasi-sinewave oscillator and metal shielding to ensure exceptionally low output ripple and electromagnetic interference. It offers high reliability through a fully potted UL epoxy resin construction and includes a dedicated digital ON-OFF input and logical alarm output for easy system integration.

Applications

Mass Spectrometry
Providing stable high-voltage bias for ion sources and detectors where low electrical noise is critical.
Photomultiplier Tubes (PMT)
Supplying the necessary high-voltage bias for vacuum photodetectors used in precision optical measurements.
Electrostatic Chucks
Generating the high-potential fields required for wafer handling in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Piezoelectric Actuators
Driving high-voltage piezo elements for nanopositioning and precision industrial automation.
