GNSS / GPS Modules u-blox M10 GNSS antenna module ROM, TCXO, SAW, LNA LGA, 16x16 mm, 250 pcs/reel

Overview

The SAM-M10Q-00B is a high-performance GNSS antenna module built on the u-blox M10 platform, designed for concurrent reception of four GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou). It integrates a 15x15 mm patch antenna, SAW filter, and LNA into a single 20-pin SMD package, simplifying RF design for space-constrained applications. With a power consumption of 13mA in concurrent mode and a sensitivity of -165dBm, it is optimized for battery-powered positioning.

Why Choose This Part

The module features u-blox Super-S technology, which maintains high positioning accuracy even in weak signal environments or when using small antennas. It offers comprehensive security through integrated spoofing and jamming detection, as well as a configuration lockdown feature. The pre-tuned integrated patch antenna eliminates the need for complex RF layout and impedance matching on the host PCB.

Applications

Asset Tracking
Small-form-factor trackers for logistics and fleet management that require low power consumption.
Wearable Devices
Fitness trackers and smartwatches where space for a discrete antenna is unavailable.
Industrial IoT
Remote monitoring stations that utilize u-blox Cloud Locate for power-efficient positioning.

Getting Started

Evaluation can be performed using the u-blox EVK-M10QSAM evaluation kit, which provides a USB interface and access to the u-center 2 configuration software. To interface with a microcontroller, connect the module via UART or I2C (400kbps max) and ensure the supply voltage is between 2.7V and 3.6V. Prototyping is simplified as the module handles all RF filtering and amplification internally.
