Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
Overview
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a highly compact single-board computer featuring a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1GHz. It integrates 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM into a single system-in-package, providing a significant performance upgrade over the original Zero while maintaining the same 65mm x 30mm form factor. With built-in WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 BLE, and a 40-pin GPIO header, it serves as a versatile platform for space-constrained embedded Linux applications.
Why Choose This Part
It offers five times the performance of its predecessor in an identical footprint, simplifying hardware upgrades for existing Zero-based designs. The inclusion of certified wireless connectivity and a standard 40-pin HAT-compatible header enables rapid prototyping with a vast ecosystem of existing expansion boards.

Getting Started
To begin, flash a microSD card with Raspberry Pi OS using the Raspberry Pi Imager tool. Power the board via the micro-USB port (5V 2.5A recommended) and connect peripherals using a Mini HDMI adapter and a USB OTG shim. Developers can access the system via SSH over WiFi or by connecting a USB-to-Serial console cable to the GPIO header.
