SENSEK-SensorBridge

MPN: SEK-SENSORBRIDGE
Sensirion AG
- Sensor, Bridge Interface Evaluation Board
Active939 in stock

Overview

The SEK-SensorBridge is a dedicated USB-to-I2C/SPI interface designed to connect Sensirion environmental sensors directly to a PC. It features two independent channels that allow for the simultaneous evaluation of multiple sensors through a single USB connection. This bridge acts as the hardware link between Sensirion's digital sensors and their ControlCenter graphical user interface software.

Why Choose This Part

It simplifies the prototyping process by providing plug-and-play connectivity for Sensirion sensors via standard 4-pin cables. The dual-channel architecture enables engineers to compare two different sensors side-by-side or test different sensor versions simultaneously under the same conditions.

Applications

Environmental Sensor Evaluation
Rapidly prototyping and testing humidity, temperature, and gas sensors without writing custom microcontroller firmware.
Sensor Calibration Verification
Using the PC-based GUI to verify sensor accuracy and response times in controlled environments.
Data Logging
Long-term collection of environmental data directly to a computer for analysis in CSV format.

Getting Started

Connect the SensorBridge to a PC via a USB cable and download the Sensirion ControlCenter software. Use the provided 4-pin adapter cables to connect compatible Sensirion sensor evaluation boards (such as the SHT4x or SEN5x series) to either of the two ports. Once connected, the software automatically detects the sensors and begins displaying real-time measurement data.
