Overview

The SEK-SHT40-AD1B-Sensors is an evaluation board for the SHT40 high-accuracy digital humidity and temperature sensor. It features a plug-and-play design with an included cable for connection to Sensirion SensorBridge or similar I2C evaluation systems. The board allows engineers to quickly prototype with the SHT40 sensor, which offers a 1.08V to 3.6V operating range and ultra-low power consumption.

Why Choose This Part

This kit provides a ready-to-use hardware implementation of the SHT40, eliminating the need for custom PCB fabrication during early development. Its wide voltage compatibility down to 1.08V makes it ideal for testing with modern low-voltage microcontrollers.

Applications

HVAC Monitoring
Prototype smart thermostat and ventilation controls using the high accuracy +/-1.8% RH and +/-0.2degC temperature sensing.
Battery-Powered IoT
Evaluate the SHT40 for low-power remote environmental logging due to its 0.1uA standby current and 0.35mA typical run current.
Industrial Instrumentation
Verify sensor performance in harsh conditions with a full sensing range of -40degC to 125degC and 0 to 100% RH.
