Overview

The SEN0161-V2 is an analog pH meter kit designed for measuring the acidity or alkalinity of liquids in a range of 0 to 14 pH. It features an onboard voltage regulator supporting a wide supply range of 3.3V to 5.5V, making it compatible with both 5V and 3.3V control systems. The signal conversion board outputs an analog voltage between 0V and 3V, which is easily read by standard microcontroller ADC channels.

Why Choose This Part

This V2 version includes an onboard voltage regulator and filtered signal output to improve measurement accuracy to within +/- 0.1 pH at 25 degrees Celsius. The Gravity interface allows for plug-and-play connectivity with various microcontrollers, while the BNC connector simplifies electrode replacement or upgrades.

Applications

Water Quality Monitoring
Ideal for real-time pH tracking in aquariums, aquaculture, and swimming pool maintenance.
Hydroponics Control
Automated nutrient solution monitoring for indoor farming and greenhouse management.
Wastewater Testing
Secondary treatment monitoring and environmental sampling for low-complexity industrial effluent.

Getting Started

Connect the pH probe to the BNC connector on the signal conversion board and wire the 3-pin Gravity interface to your microcontroller's analog input. Calibrate the sensor using standard pH 4.0 and 7.0 buffer solutions by adjusting the onboard potentiometer or using software offsets in your code. Ensure the probe is only submerged for active measurements to extend its lifespan, as it is not designed for long-term continuous immersion.
