Overview

The SEN0371 is a high-precision barometric pressure sensor module based on the Bosch BMP388. It provides absolute pressure measurements from 300 hPa to 1250 hPa with excellent stability and low power consumption of approximately 0.5mA. This Gravity-compatible module simplifies integration with microcontrollers through its 3.3V to 5.5V wide voltage range and support for both I2C and SPI interfaces.

Why Choose This Part

The BMP388 sensor offers high accuracy of +/-0.05kPa, making it suitable for applications requiring centimeter-level altitude precision. The module design is plug-and-play with Gravity-standard cables and supports a wide supply voltage of 3.3V to 5.5V, ensuring compatibility with both 3.3V ARM and 5V AVR microcontrollers.

Applications

Altitude Tracking
Used in drones and RC aircraft for precise vertical velocity indication and altitude hold.
Indoor Navigation
Enables floor-level detection and elevator movement monitoring in smartphones or robotic platforms.
Weather Monitoring
Reliable atmospheric pressure sensing for local weather stations and IoT environmental nodes.
Fitness Tracking
Calculates calorie burn more accurately by measuring vertical displacement during sports and climbing.
