SG3225EAN 125.000000M-KEGA3
Overview
The SG3225EAN is a 125 MHz SPXO crystal oscillator featuring a high-speed LVPECL output. It is designed for low-jitter clocking applications and operates across a flexible supply voltage range of 2.5V to 3.3V within a compact 3.2mm x 2.5mm surface-mount package.
Why Choose This Part
This oscillator offers high-speed LVPECL output for superior noise immunity and signal integrity in high-frequency designs. Its wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius and tight frequency stability of +/-30ppm ensure performance in demanding environments.
Applications
Ethernet Networking
Provides a stable 125 MHz reference clock for Gigabit Ethernet and 10GbE network interface controllers.
High-Speed Serial Links
Ideal for clocking SERDES interfaces, Fibre Channel, and PCIe backplanes requiring differential signaling.
FPGA Clocking
Serves as a reliable system clock or transceiver reference for FPGAs requiring LVPECL levels for noise immunity.
Optical Modules
Integrates into SFP+ and QSFP transceiver modules where high-frequency stability and small footprint are critical.

Getting Started
Ensure proper differential termination for the LVPECL output, typically 50 ohms to Vcc minus 2V. Place a 0.1uF bypass capacitor as close as possible to the Vcc pin to minimize power supply noise and jitter.
