SI5351A-B-GM1
Overview
The SI5351A-B-GM1 is an I2C configurable clock generator capable of synthesizing up to 200MHz on four independent LVCMOS outputs. It utilizes a MultiSynth fractional divider architecture to generate any frequency from an 8kHz to 160MHz range with 0 ppm error, replacing multiple crystal oscillators in complex designs.
Why Choose This Part
This device offers high flexibility by allowing independent frequency configuration on each output via a standard I2C interface. With a low operating current of 8.5mA at 48MHz and a small MSOP-10 package, it provides a power-efficient solution for space-constrained embedded systems.

Getting Started
Configuration is typically performed using the Skyworks ClockBuilder Pro software tool, which generates the required register maps for the I2C interface. For rapid prototyping, many engineers use breakout boards compatible with the Arduino ecosystem to test frequency configurations before PCB integration.
