Overview

The SI8622BC-B-ISR is a high-performance, dual-channel digital isolator offering 3750Vrms isolation and a high-speed data rate of 150Mbps. Based on Skyworks' proprietary capacitive coupling technology, it provides robust galvanic isolation with a high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 35kV/us. This device features one forward and one reverse channel (1/1 configuration), making it ideal for bidirectional data communication lines.

Getting Started

When designing the PCB, place 0.1uF bypass capacitors as close as possible to the VDD1 and VDD2 pins (pins 1 and 8). Maintain the required creepage and clearance distances under the 8-SOIC package to preserve the 3750Vrms isolation rating. For evaluation, use the Si86xxISO-KIT evaluation board to test signal integrity and power consumption across different load conditions.
