Overview

The SLB9673 is a 32-bit OPTIGA TPM 2.0 microcontroller designed to provide hardware-based security for IoT and ICT devices. It features an I2C interface and is pre-provisioned with four endorsement keys to simplify device identity management. The module supports a wide range of cryptographic algorithms including RSA up to 4096-bit and ECC NIST P384.

Why Choose This Part

This TPM is certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 2 and Common Criteria EAL4+, ensuring high resistance against physical and logical tampering. It includes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) protected firmware updates and supports up to 64 active sessions with 51kB of non-volatile memory for flexible key storage.

Applications

Industrial IoT Gateways
Provides a hardware root of trust for secure boot, identity authentication, and encrypted communication in edge computing nodes.
Network Infrastructure
Protects routers and switches by securely storing credentials and performing integrity measurements of the system firmware.
Secure Cloud Onboarding
Uses pre-provisioned ECC and RSA certificates to automate the secure registration of devices to cloud service providers.
