Overview

The SLG46880V is a highly integrated GreenPAK programmable mixed-signal matrix that allows engineers to consolidate small-signal discrete components into a single tiny chip. It combines logic, timing, and analog functions with an ultra-low standby current of 0.12 uA and a wide operating voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V.

Why Choose This Part

This device excels in space-constrained designs due to its 4mm x 4mm STQFN package and 0.4mm pitch. It provides significant power savings for portable electronics, consuming as little as 0.12 uA in standby mode while replacing dozens of discrete logic and analog components.

Applications

System Power Sequencing
Manage complex power-up and power-down cycles for multi-rail SoCs in smartphones and tablets.
Hardware Watchdog and Reset
Implement independent hardware-level system monitoring and Power-On Reset (POR) functionality.
I2C IO Expansion
Offload simple GPIO and logic tasks from the main processor using the integrated I2C interface.
Sensor Signal Conditioning
Interface with the internal analog temperature sensor or external sensors for basic environmental monitoring.

Getting Started

Development is performed using the Renesas Go Configure Software Hub, which offers a graphical interface for schematic-based design. Engineers should use the SLG46880V-SKT socket kit or a GreenPAK Advanced Development Board to prototype and program the non-volatile memory (NVM) before mass production.
