Overview
The SMBJ5.0A is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients and ESD events. It features a 5.0 V reverse standoff voltage and is housed in a low-profile DO-214AA (SMB) package for surface-mount applications. With a fast response time of less than 1.0 picosecond, it effectively clamps surges from IEC-61000-4-2 ESD up to 30kV.
