Getting Started

When designing the PCB, ensure the cathode is correctly oriented according to the marking on the bottom of the package. Calculate the series resistor based on a forward voltage range of 2.2V to 2.4V to maintain the target 20mA current. For manual prototyping, use a fine-tip soldering iron or low-temperature solder paste to avoid exceeding the maximum 85C operating temperature for extended periods.
