Getting Started

To get started with the SN65C3232, connect the VCC pin to a 3V to 5.5V supply and the GND pin to ground. Interface the logic-level (TTL/CMOS) side to a microcontroller's UART TX/RX pins. Connect the RS-232 side to a standard DB9 or similar connector. Proper decoupling capacitors (typically 0.1uF to 1uF) should be placed near the VCC pin and charge pump pins (C1+, C1-, C2+, C2-).
