SS49E
Overview
The SS49E is a high-performance, linear Hall effect sensor that provides a ratiometric analog voltage output proportional to magnetic flux density. It features a thin-film resistor design to maintain temperature stability and can detect both positive and negative Gauss across a typical range of +/-1000 Gauss.
Why Choose This Part
The sensor operates across a wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 6.5V and offers low-noise output for high-precision measurements. Its linear sourcing output and thermal balancing ensure reliable performance even in environments with varying temperatures up to 85 degrees Celsius.

Getting Started
Interface the SS49E by connecting the supply pins to a stable 3.0V or 5V source and routing the analog output pin to an ADC channel on your microcontroller. Calibrate the zero-Gauss point at half the supply voltage (Vcc/2) and use the sensitivity of 1.4 mV/Gauss to calculate magnetic field strength in your firmware.
