Overview

The STM32WL3RKBV6X is an ultra-low power sub-1GHz wireless System-on-Chip that integrates an Arm Cortex-M0+ core with a high-performance radio transceiver. This SoC supports multiple modulation schemes including GFSK and ASK, and is capable of delivering up to 20dBm output power for long-range connectivity in the 413MHz to 958MHz bands.

Why Choose This Part

It offers exceptional power efficiency with deepstop modes as low as 1.8uA while maintaining a high link budget through -132dBm sensitivity. The integration of 128kB Flash and 16kB SRAM with dedicated security features like an AES-128 co-processor and secure bootloader simplifies the design of secure IoT nodes.

Applications

Smart Utility Metering
Optimized for battery-powered water, gas, and heat meters requiring long-range communication and multi-year battery life.
Industrial Sensor Networks
Ideal for large-scale sensor deployments in factories using protocols like KNX or proprietary LPWAN stacks.
Building Automation
Suitable for smart home applications such as lighting control, HVAC monitoring, and security systems using Zigbee or Sigfox.
