STSPIN32F0601TR
Overview
The STSPIN32F0601TR is a highly integrated 600V three-phase controller containing an ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller and a triple half-bridge gate driver. It is designed to drive three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motors or permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) using advanced control techniques such as field-oriented control (FOC) or 6-step trapezoidal driving. The 48MHz MCU core provides sufficient performance for high-efficiency motor control algorithms in a compact 64-TQFP package.
Why Choose This Part
This SiP (System-in-Package) reduces PCB footprint by integrating a 600V gate driver capable of 350mA source current with an STM32F031 MCU. It includes built-in protection features like overcurrent protection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), and interlocking to prevent cross-conduction. The 5V tolerant I/Os and integrated comparators simplify interfacing with sensors and external control logic.

Getting Started
Developers can use the STM32Cube ecosystem, including the X-CUBE-MCSDK (Motor Control Software Development Kit) for rapid FOC implementation. Hardware evaluation can be performed using the EVSPIN32F0601S1 or similar ST evaluation boards. Firmware is typically written in C/C++ using IDEs such as STM32CubeIDE, Keil MDK, or IAR Embedded Workbench, with debugging handled via the SWD interface.
