STUSB4500LQTR
Overview
The STUSB4500LQTR is a standalone USB Type-C and Power Delivery controller designed specifically for sink applications. It features a proprietary Auto-run mode that allows it to negotiate power profiles from a Source without external microcontroller intervention, making it ideal for migrating legacy DC-barrel jack devices to USB-C.
Why Choose This Part
It offers an extremely low supply current of 210uA and supports Dead Battery mode, ensuring the device can be powered even when the internal battery is fully depleted. The integrated VBUS switch gate drivers and high-voltage protections on CC pins reduce the total bill-of-materials and PCB footprint.

Getting Started
Engineers can evaluate this controller using the EVAL-SCS001V1 reference design. Configuration is performed by uploading Power Data Objects (PDOs) to the non-volatile memory via the I2C interface, after which the chip operates autonomously.
