TITCAN334DR
Overview
The TCAN334DR is a 3.3V CAN transceiver designed to provide an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. It supports data rates up to 1Mbps and is fully compatible with the ISO 11898-2 standard while operating from a lower voltage supply than traditional 5V transceivers.
Why Choose This Part
The primary advantage is the 3V to 3.6V supply range, which eliminates the need for 5V level shifters or dedicated 5V regulators in modern 3.3V MCU designs. It also features 120 mV receiver hysteresis for improved noise immunity and a wide operating temperature range from -40degC to 125degC.

Getting Started
To evaluate this part, connect the TXD and RXD pins to your microcontroller's CAN controller and terminate the bus with 120-ohm resistors at both ends. For rapid prototyping, look for TI CAN transceiver evaluation modules or generic 8-SOIC breakout boards.
