TPS2663x - Electronic Fuses (eFuse) Circuit Protection Evaluation Board
Active27 in stock

Overview

The TPS26630-33EVM is an evaluation module designed to test the TPS2663x series of 60V, 6A electronic fuses (eFuses). These devices provide advanced protection for industrial power rails, including programmable current limiting, overvoltage protection, and reverse polarity protection with the help of an external N-channel MOSFET.

Why Choose This Part

The board demonstrates robust protection against IEC61000-4-5 surges and features a Power Limiting (PLIM) scheme to manage thermal stress during high-load events. It supports a wide operating range from 4.5V up to 60V with a high 6A current capacity and programmable UVLO/OVP thresholds.

Applications

Industrial Control Systems
Protecting PLC and CNC power rails against surge, EFT, and reverse polarity events common in factory environments.
Medical Equipment
Reliable circuit protection for sensitive diagnostic and laboratory equipment requiring high input voltage tolerance.
Power Supply Protection
Serving as a front-end protection stage to prevent damage from input overvoltage and reverse-wired power connectors.

Getting Started

To begin evaluation, connect a 4.5V to 60V DC source to the input terminals and monitor the output using the on-board test points and fault LEDs. Users can configure the overcurrent response between Auto-Retry and Latch modes using on-board jumpers and adjust the VOUT slew rate via the programmable capacitors.
