NRND6,559 in stock

Overview

The TXB0102DCUR is a 2-bit, bidirectional voltage-level translator featuring auto-direction sensing and 100Mbps data rate capability. It allows for seamless communication between devices operating at different logic levels, supporting a range of 1.2 V to 3.6 V on Port A and 1.65 V to 5.5 V on Port B.

Why Choose This Part

The integrated auto-direction sensing eliminates the need for a DIR control signal from the processor, simplifying PCB routing and firmware. It supports a wide VCC range and features tri-state outputs for high-impedance isolation when the output-enable (OE) input is low.

Applications

I2C and SPI Level Shifting
Translating logic levels between 1.8V low-power microcontrollers and 3.3V or 5V peripherals in digital systems.
GPIO Voltage Adaptation
Bridging mismatched I/O voltages for general-purpose signals without the need for a direction control pin.
MDIO and SDIO Interfacing
Providing high-speed level translation for memory card interfaces and management data input/output signals.

Getting Started

Ensure that the VCCA voltage is always less than or equal to VCCB for stable operation. Place 0.1 uF decoupling capacitors close to both VCCA and VCCB pins, and pull the OE pin low during power-up to ensure high-impedance state until supply voltages are stable.
