TITXB0108RUKR
Overview
The TXB0108RUKR is an 8-bit bidirectional voltage-level translator that uses two separate configurable power-supply rails to bridge different logic levels. It features auto-direction sensing, eliminating the need for a direction-control signal, and supports data rates up to 100Mbps across its eight channels.
Why Choose This Part
The device features auto-direction sensing and VCC isolation, which ensures that if either VCC input is at ground, all outputs are in a high-impedance state. It also includes 15kV ESD protection and supports partial-power-down mode via Ioff circuitry to prevent damaging backflow current.

Getting Started
When designing with the TXB0108, ensure that the driving CMOS device can source at least 2mA of current to overcome the internal pull-up resistors. For prototyping, the TXB0108 is frequently used on breakout boards, and engineers should keep PCB trace lengths short to minimize capacitive loading, which can affect the auto-direction sensing pulse.
