VEML7700-TT
Overview
The VEML7700-TT is a high-accuracy, 16-bit ambient light sensor (ALS) with an I2C interface housed in a compact Heimdall package. It features Filtron technology for spectral sensitivity close to the human eye and includes 100 Hz and 120 Hz flicker noise rejection to ensure stable measurements in varied lighting conditions.
Why Choose This Part
This sensor offers a massive dynamic range from 0 to 140 klx with a high resolution of 0.0042 lx/ct, making it suitable for both dark environments and direct sunlight. It is extremely power-efficient, consuming only 0.5 microamps in shutdown mode and featuring a programmable Power Saving Mode to further reduce current during operation.
