The VL53L1X-SATEL is a development kit containing two breakout boards for the VL53L1X Time-of-Flight (ToF) long-distance ranging sensor. These boards feature a unique perforated design that allows the user to snap off the mini-PCB for integration into small-scale prototypes while providing a 2.8V to 5V supply range for compatibility with most microcontrollers. Unlike standard infrared sensors, this ToF technology measures the absolute distance to a target regardless of its color or surface reflectance.
