Overview

The VNH5019ATR-E is a high-power integrated H-bridge motor driver designed to drive brushed DC motors at up to 30A. It combines a dual monolithic high-side driver and two low-side switches in a MultiPowerSO-30 package, supporting a wide operating voltage range from 5.5V to 24V. This AEC-Q100 qualified component includes comprehensive protection features such as thermal shutdown, current limiting, and undervoltage lockout.

Why Choose This Part

The device features a built-in charge pump to support reverse polarity protection and an analog current sense output for real-time torque monitoring without external shunts. It is highly resilient, offering protection against loss of ground, loss of Vcc, and short-to-ground or short-to-Vcc conditions while maintaining a very low 10uA standby current.

Applications

Automotive Power Actuators
Ideal for driving high-current automotive loads like power seats, wipers, and window lifts requiring AEC-Q100 reliability.
Robotic Drivetrains
Used in mobile robotics to provide robust bidirectional control for high-torque brushed DC motors.
Industrial Valve Control
Suitable for driving heavy-duty actuators and motorized valves in harsh industrial environments.
