X-NUCLEO-GNSS1A1
Overview
The X-NUCLEO-GNSS1A1 is an expansion board for STM32 Nucleo development kits based on the Teseo-LIV3F tiny GNSS module. It provides a complete evaluation platform for global navigation satellite system applications, supporting simultaneous multi-constellation reception. The board interfaces via UART or I2C and includes an integrated battery holder for backup memory and faster hot starts.
Why Choose This Part
The board features an onboard LNA and SAW filter to ensure high sensitivity and immunity to RF interference. It provides flexible connectivity through both Arduino UNO R3 and ST morpho connectors, making it compatible with a wide range of STM32 Nucleo boards. The hardware supports a wide operating temperature range from -40C to 85C for industrial reliability.

Getting Started
Plug the expansion board onto an STM32 Nucleo-64 or Nucleo-144 baseboard using the Arduino UNO R3 headers. Developers can use the X-CUBE-GNSS1 software expansion package for STM32Cube, which includes drivers and example code for NMEA protocol handling. Connection to a PC for debugging is typically done via the Nucleo virtual COM port over UART.
