Overview

The XCL206A183CR-G is a synchronous step-down micro DC/DC converter that integrates both the inductor and the control IC into a single CL-2025-02 package. It provides a fixed 1.8V output from an input range of 2.0V to 6.0V, supporting load currents up to 600mA while minimizing EMI and board space. The device features an automatic PWM/PFM switching mode to maintain high efficiency across the entire load spectrum, including a low 21uA quiescent current.

Why Choose This Part

The integrated inductor design significantly reduces radiated noise and simplifies PCB layout by eliminating the need for external magnetic component selection. It offers excellent light-load efficiency via PFM mode and includes an auto-discharge function to quickly clear the output rail when disabled.

Applications

Wearable Electronics
Ideal for Bluetooth headsets and smartwatches due to the integrated inductor reducing the total footprint to 2.5mm x 2.0mm.
Mobile Handsets
Provides efficient 1.8V logic rails for processors and memory in smartphones and PDAs.
Portable Gaming
Supports high-efficiency power delivery in handheld consoles where thermal management and battery life are critical.
Digital Imaging
Powers sensor rails in compact digital cameras and camcorders with minimal external component requirements.
