Unable to Flash code into DJ64 Target controller

Started by venki August 17, 2005
Hi all,

I am trying to Flash the code to DJ64 target board by using BDM
Multilink P&E Flash program S/W. I am not able to Flash and I am getting
"Could not find appropriate io_delay_count" error .Please let me know
the possible causes for this.

Target Controller: MC9S12DJ64
Compiler: COSMIC

Thanks in advance,
Venki.

Thanks a lot.

We already done that now it is working fine. Please let me know what are
all the causes for MC9S12DJ64 to get secured.

This is probably happening since you are not talking to the MC9S12DJ64
properly.

This could be caused either by a connection problem or the part
you are trying to talk to is secured.

I'd first try unsecuring the part. You can download the Unsecure_12
program from P&E's website (www.pemicro.com) and try running it.

Venki

The usual problem is that either:

1. You wrote someting into the flaash protection byte at address $FF0F, or

2. You erased the device without programming the flash protection byte. The
erased pattern $FF at $FF0F secures the device after the next reset. Most
programmers, including P&E's, write this byte to $FE as part of the erasing
process.
