HC12D60A Initialization

Started by bitjockey1 November 21, 2003
Hello All,

Is there any documents for the HC12 that give a concise list
of all the registers that need to be setup right out of reset? I have
written a bootloader for the HC12D60A and would like to set these
registers up in the bootloader code so the appropriate
modules/functions are ready when I jump to application code.

Thanks,

Brian

I think the answer is no.

Modern microcontrollers have so many features, that there is nothing else
you can do but to assume everything is disabled, which it mostly is. You
then to go through each feature in turn configuring it and enabling it. I
used the word mostly because the exception is setting memory map, mode, and
stack, which I am working through just now. Andrew Lohmann AIIE
