Wow... learn something new every day!

We bought a fairly large set of D60A's a while back, under the KMC label,
that all came 2 per pack. We didn't care (because of the way we were
stuffing them for mounting anyway), but we just assumed it was the
"leftovers" from a pick&place run that always had 2 left when all the other
trays were empty (i.e. cheaper to take the remainder and sell them back
than to have to stop 2 boards later and reload the machine).

Does anyone know the different between the
MC9S12C32MFA25 and the KMC9S12C32MFA25?
I'm assuming this is pre-production or something but cannot
find anything in the docs about it.

never mind.... it turned out to be a distributor suffix for

KMC parts are sample packs, typically 2 parts per pack.

Not true. Price is exactly 2x individual part price since you get 2 parts.
This is a good way to order prototype quantities without worrying about
MOQs.

Well, the price is twice the price but nobody mentioned that they
are a two pack which lend me to believe I was paying a lot more
than I should have been. But, I won't actually believe it till I see
it because this would put the price at par with buying a tray of
250. Future quoted me $10.74 (CDN) for a tray of 250 or
$20 (CDN) for the KMC. Could I be that lucky? :-)
