Environment: Windows XP Metrowerks Code Warrior Dev Studio 3.1 Real-Time Debugger 6.1 uController: HC9S12E128 Language: C & C++ Problem: I get the message "Cannot set hardware breakpoint at address <xxx>" on all lines of code. Everything was working just fine until I added some (innocent) lines of code. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what I added so I can't just go back and take it out. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help. Tim P. |

Hi. When this message occurs, please go to the "Run" menu, then "Control Points...", then in the breakpoint tab, on bottom left, see if you automatically "save & restore" breakpoints. You might have too many breakpoints vs. hardware resources and you can delete them in this dialog. If the problem remains, please open a Command window (if not already opened). Type there: "FLASH RELEASE" then Enter. Then try again. Please contact me directly (offline) if the problem is not sorted out.
