Keyboard Interface

Started by mverlinden June 5, 2000
Hello avr people,<br><br>I am glad to see that
the AVR club is growing. I have been programming
lately on an interface to an AT keyboard to a '8515/2313
controller. I am looking for people who may be what to test
some of this software. May be there are more people
that want to use a pc keyboard in their applications
or share their particular code. Therefore I find it
usefull to introduce my code to the club and create some
kind of a code librairy which all club members can use
by emailing me!<br><br>If people in this club find
this a good idea, just reply on this
message!<br><br>The founder

Hey mverlinden,<br><br>I'd like to give your
keyboard library a test since I'm working with UART
communication. And the code library sounds like a good idea as
well.<br><br>Nate<br>snaresystems@snar...

Thank you for your quick reply. I am busy
finishing the last things for the keyboard interface. Next
week I will go on vacation, so before I go away I'll
sent the code and description to you!<br><br>Mark

As I promissed in prev. message:<br>AT Keyboard
interface adapted to AVR (exactly to 90S8515) showing how
the keyboard realy works on 2x20 (or 2x16) LCD,
managed in 4 bit mode<br>Schematic is very simple and
when u check the definitions in .ASM file I think
evrithing will be clear, but I will publish the OrCAD file
too after a couple of days. Sorry, I don't host the
site where the software is published ;-(<br><br>Follow
the link to download the
software<br><a href=http://www.mladkonstruktor.bg/mkfiles/keys8515.zip target=new>http://www.mladkonstruktor.bg/mkfiles/keys8515.zip</a

If you want to add this code to the code library, just say so...<br><br>Founder: Markus

Markus, that club is great place - BRAVO <br>I
haven't seen yet what is the "code library" but I'm sure
that any working code written on AVR will <br>will be
a helpful for the the beginners and advence users,
I mean all of us who are joined this club. <br>I'll
be glad to help gowing of code library and I hope
there will be many of us who will add a code, I think
that's the reason which associate us.<br><br>PS: I think
that may be useful to say that in the code you will
find a 4-bit driving LCD routines.
