Serial Communications

I'm trying to get a VB program to communicate with the BX-24 on Com
1. It almost works. Does anyone have a working example of the
module to run on the BX-24 and perhaps a VB prog example that
communicates through this module? Ideally, the code used in the BX-
24 compiler that writes to the BX-24 would be a good example. I
wonder if NetMedia would share it?

call netmedia there is some awesome demo vb to bx24 2way com software demo ask him to email it to you it is awesome if no luck get back with me I will find it in all my clutter you will love it is great I have been working with the bx 24 and stamp for rs 232 com and love it very impressed with both and visual basic is easy to interface there are a couple of different ways you may need an max 232 depending on your design but for the software from netmedia it works right of your 232 line and remember I found this out the hard way always disconnect your programming pin on your development board when trying to communicate back to vb I know people use the stamp also on the bx board so with either processor this could be an issue for you look in the docs that came with the bx 24. happy piccing
