I2C Memory Module

Started by Joseph Obernberger September 15, 2003
Has anyone see this?
http://www.nollet.com.au/Memory_module_1Meg.htm

Does anyone know of other I2C memory modules that can be used with the
BasicX? Is there any easy way to increase the amount of available RAM
from the 400 bytes?
Thanks!

I have used the 24WC256P from Catalyst. It works well and they have several
sizes. I have used it with a BasicX and a Pic16F87. The software I used
was a modified version of the code posted on Peter H Anderson's web site.
If you want my modified routines let me know.

Thanks. I believe that is a EEPROM device?
I'm interested in a RAM device that can be written many times a second
and can be used with the BX-24?
Thanks!
