Com1 and Inversion

Started by iclsidsan November 6, 2003
Hello,

I had voltage level problems with Com3 and had to use Max232 and did
inversion within the software as defining the com3 as Call DefineCom3
(5, 6, bx0000_1000) .

However now I need to use com1 as well and have the same voltage
level problem and I would need to redefine Com1 as per
setting 'bx0000_1000' and connect a max232.

However I have searched the manuals and could find anywhere where I
could set Com1 to 'bx0000_1000' .

Does anyone have an idea ? or would i need to use a chip other than
max232 ??

That's because there's no way to invert Com1 (well, no easy way).
