Started by Mikael Karstikko March 8, 2005
I have a code thats something like this

dim a as single
dim b as single
call getadc(17,b)
a = 0.6 * b - 1.5 after that a is like 0.62571235712356 ... too long
How can i convert it to 0.62 or 0.625 ???
Thanks for any help !

One way to produce a formatted display string is with Fmt(a, 2). Tom

This is straight from my program .

' lcd_out uses com3 to LCD+
Dim nonv as single
Dim geix as single
Dim om as string
Call getadc(pin20, nonv)
geix = 0.6 * nonv - 1.5
om = fmt(geix, 2) ' Do i use this correctly ??
Call putqueuestr(lcd_out, om) ' This hangs the bx-24 !

Just need to clip the geix from 0.2432523 to 0.243 ....
Thanks in advance !
