Is it possible to comunicate between a basicstamp and a basicx?

My hope was to use the basicx as master and have the bs2px as
slave.. Although it is in noway as fast as the basicx. As fas as basic
stamps go, the bs2px is as fast as they have... And was a free gift
for me, so I'd like to find a way to use it...

I'm not expert but I've got a BX24 communicating with a BS2p at 38.4K
baud via serial communication. In my case however the BS2p sends data
to the BX24's hardware usart only (single direction). To send data to
a BS2p[x] would require some synchronization (unless you buffer data
in front of it). Otherwise the BS2p[x] might miss data.

It is probably a good idea to put a resistor of at least 220 ohms on
the I/O line between them to prevent current overdraw due to
programming error or transient start up states.

I'm sure many others have done this, and probably in many different
ways also.
