BxDism & BX01 with external RAM

Started by vic_gates January 11, 2006
I was experimenting with bxdism on a couple of my projects and ran
into a problem. When using it with a program for the BX-01
configured for XI/O and external ram (similar to the RAM Sandwich
setup) the stack size is reported as a negative value (-214) when it
is actually 64,714 bytes. Just thought that Mike & Don would like to
know this in case they weren't already aware of this behavior.

here are the values from the bxdism report

********************************************************
TASK ANALYSIS
=============

Stack Start Stack Length Stack Needed Name of Task Routine
----------- ------------ ------------ --------------------
822 -214 297 **** model930mainvcn1_0.main

**************************************************************

and here are the MAP file numbers

****************************************************************
RAM available: 65186 bytes
RAM allocated: 472 bytes
Main stack size: 64714 bytes
******************************************************************

Thanks Vic. I have been able to duplicate your problem. I will
investigate this BX-01 specific problem and post a fix.
