Are my servos broken?

Hello, I haven't touched my bx-24 in a while and I thought I'd take it
out and see what I could do with it. I set it up to run a servo but
it seems that out of the three servos I have, two of them don't work?
The one that works is a parallax servo while both my Mx-400 and GWS
servo don't seem to work. When I plug them into the circuit they give
a slight jolt and rotate a tiny amount, but after that they don't move
at all. Could the servos somehow gotten broken from just sitting
around for a couple of months? Or could there be something particular
with these two servos that the circuit I set up wouldn't work with them?

Try sending a varying pulsewidth : 1ms increasing to 2ms in small increments (50Hz) to see if the two will move. Its possible that the Parallax is modified for continous rotation and you are sending the same pulsewidth. That would make the unmodified servo go to a certain location and stay there. A modified would (likely) rotate continously in the same direction as long as you supplied the same pulsewidth.

Regards,
Thad
