am Joe, i am student at DIT doing his project and a beginner at using
FT245r chip,
i was able to get the D2XX file to write code for visual basic for
FT245r but my project requirement
is to write this program in java. Please does any know how i can get
the D2XX implementation
for FT245rl chip in java. i couldnt find an open source version that i
could use. if you know
any links to this file will be welcomed thanks.i am sorry, i know i
didn't explain too well.apologies

Go back to the FTDI site. There are at least two Java projects mentioned
there, both of them hosted on Sourceforge so they're pretty much as open
source as they can be.
