Embedded Systems Novice.

Hi ,
I am a novice in embedded systems and want to learn more about it.
Someone suggested me to buy a embedded systems board and install an
RTOS on it and begin programming.

Since then I am searching for a board that can interface with a
computer and allows me to program on it.

If you know any such boards that are good for starters please let
me know. And also tell me where can i buy it.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
Abhijeet

Many makers of microcontrollers also make evaluation boards you can buy. Check the websites of Motorola, Microchip, Zilog, and Atmel. There are also third-party boards you can buy.

<snip> Please learn to search before you post. This same question has been asked before and answered 'n' number of times before. searching would also reduce the time for your answers by a great factor. regards, Seemanta
