Motorola MC68HC705P3 to PIC16/18 28-pin converter??

Started by Mike V. April 19, 2004
Hi,

I need to convert MC68HC705-based firmware to PIC. The original is a
28 pin MOT microcontroller. Is there a company that makes MOT-to-MCHP
microcontroller converter PC boards, and vice versa?

Thanks,
Mike

You can easily make your own with a DIP header and either a regular or ZIF socket on top, maybe a bit of hardware. I did this for an 8049 to 8051 conversion. It's only 28 wires, after all. Chance are you'll need to re-arrange the pins for peripheral functions in some way or an other. Best regards, Spehro Pefhany -- "it's the network..."
