SH-3 DSP reference design for embedded Linux.

Started by Wlad April 1, 2004
Dear all,

I'd like to build my own prototype board based on Renesas SH-3 DSP
(SH7727) that could be ready to run embedded Linux on. I know how the
memory structure (types of memories and address assignment) should be
done as far as I write my own bios but I'd like it to be also ready for
embedded Linux. I have found many software examples in this matter but
could not find any hardware reference designs. It seems that none of
embedded platform manufactures gives access to schematics with exception
   - you can get ones when buying starter-kit.

Best regards
Wlad

Most starter kits are not expensive for SH3 and linux, even come with SHLinux and tools for the board.
