Of course in my day we used to defrag hard disks by editing the inodes by hand, with magnets. ;) Cheers Phil Hobbs -- Dr Philip C D Hobbs Principal Consultant ElectroOptical Innovations LLC / Hobbs ElectroOptics Optics, Electro-optics, Photonics, Analog Electronics Briarcliff Manor NY 10510 http://electrooptical.net http://hobbs-eo.com

There was the aggravation of figuring out whether a particular 5-bit code was "in" letter or figure shift. I strongly recommend visiting TNMoC, at sometime in the indefinite future, to see and hear a working 803. And to discuss its implementation with the staff, while looking at the schematics :)
