Streaming audio

Hi,
I'm interested in streaming audio over a network and initially looked at 
Maxim's DS80C400 on

and
http://www.maxim-ic.com/appnotes.cfm/appnote_number/609

but prefer the PIC based SBC's from 
http://www.modtronix.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_23&products_id=73

Has anybody used the Modtronix SBC's for this?

You can use Analog Devices BlackFin processor, its ideal for streaming
multimedia applications.
