SMI in Linux

Started by JC December 2, 2004
Hi,

Can someone kind enough to show me some pointer about
how to setup SMI (Pentium) in Linux? (install ISR)
Anyone know which file does the NMI setup? (irq_request())

Thanks.

Huh? Normally, SMI works by switching in BIOS code - IN HARDWARE. The premise is that it is entirely invisible to, and indeed not readable/writable from the operating system level.
