Could anyone tell me where I can find free software for monitoring the
TCP/IP, USB, and RS232 data traffic?

TCP/IP - Ethereal
USB - not easy
RS232 - any terminal program
Of course, you only want to do this for legitimate reasons. Naturally.

Free, huh? Hmmmm.... By TCP/IP, do you mean ethernet? If so, check out
WireShark (http://www.wireshark.org/). For USB, what platform?? Maybe
the Usb Sniffer for Windows? (http://sourceforge.net/projects/usbsnoop)
For serial, again, what platform? For Linux, there's the Linux Serial
Sniffer. (http://freshmeat.net/projects/linuxserialsniffer/)
You really should give more info about what platform(s) you intend to use,
and what kind of sniffing you want to do on the USB and RS232 lines??
