Merry Christmas to my friends at The LPC2000 Group and the Open
Source world in general.
I've just completed the latest revision of my ARM/Eclipse tutorial
and it may be downloaded from here:
http://www.olimex.com/dev/pdf/ARM%20Cross%20Development%20with%
20Eclipse%20version%203.pdf
The sample source code may be downloaded from here:
http://www.olimex.com/dev/soft/arm/LPC/sourcecode.zip
This tutorial shows in great detail how to build and test a
completely free ARM software development system based on the GNU
tools and the Eclipse IDE platform.
This third revision shows how to use the Eclipse system to debug
applications targeted for FLASH memory. You are now able to debug in
FLASH as long as you limit yourself to two "hardware" breakpoints at
a time. You can break, single-step, inspect variables and structures,
etc.
I also included a short appendix showing how to alter my LPC2106
examples to run them on the Olimex LPC-P2148 board.
May I take a moment in this holiday season to thank the many people
who have encouraged me and provided valuable guidance on how to
improve my tutorial.
Cheers,
Jim Lynch
